Sisimpur Book Corner (School Library) was inaugurated at Shahjalal Ideal International School and College in Kulaura with the technical support of Sisemi Workshop and the funding of USAID under the implementation of RDRS Bangladesh. Chairman of Upazila Parishad and Principal of Shahjalal Ideal International School and College AKM Shofi Ahmad Solman announced the opening by presenting books to the children as the chief guest in the programme organized recently.

In his speech, he said that he assured all kinds of cooperation from the Upazila Parishad to speed up the activities of Sisimpur Book Corner in the implementation of RDRS in Kulaura.
Under the chairmanship of Md. Zahirul Islam, Vice President of the Moulvibazar District Journalist Forum’s Md. Mosabbir Ali, the special guest spoke. Kale Kantha Correspondent Mahfuz Shakil, Samokal Correspondent Syed Ashfaq Tanveer, Upazila Chhatra League President Niazul Taif, RDRS Inclusive Education Facilitator of Bangladesh Md. Abdus Sobur, Upazila Education Coordinator Md. Rabiul Islam, Chhatra League leader Rayhan Ahmad etc. RDRS Bangladesh official Rabiul Islam said, we will continue our work of this library till 2024. In the first phase, we have provided 60 books for the students of this institution.
More books will be given in 2nd and 3rd phase. Besides, 5 people including the head teacher of this institution
Training will be organized for teachers and rallies will be held for parents. Each classroom will be equipped with educational materials to attract students’ attention. The activities of this school library under the name of Sisimpur Book Corner are ongoing in a total of 150 schools in Moulvibazar district.
