Singer Shahed in ICU now

Popular singer and songwriter Shaikh Shahed Ali Khan who is popularly known to the audience for his song Rokzana has been admitted to ICU.
The musician is currently undergoing treatment at the Anwer Khan Modern Medical College Hospital. Ershadul Huq Tinku, Shahed’s friend and CEO of Cool Exposure Communications, confirmed the news yesterday.
The singer was suffering from electrolyte imbalance in his body and admitted to the hospital when his condition deteriorated. Tinku also informed that Shahed was found Covid-19 negative in tests.
Shahed felt sick around 10:00pm on September 30. At first, he was admitted to a private hospital and was then transferred to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital. Finally, he was shifted to Anwer Khan Modern Medical College Hospital at midnight. Neuromedicine Specialist Doctor Shiraji gave an update about his health condition. According to the doctor, “It’s really hard to say anything about his condition right now but we are suspecting that he suffered from a mild stroke and a kidney failure.”
Shahed is the founder of the band Gachh. He became famous for his song Rokzana in 2003. After his debut with a self-titled album Probhu in 1991, he released Chilekotha (1995), Gaan Neben Gaan (2003) and Class Roomey Boshe Shekha (2008).
