Wedding ceremony of Close Up 1 famed popular singer Nishita Barua was held in a Dhaka community centre on Wednesday night. The singer tied the knot with banker Dipankar Barua Partho. For last 15 years Nishita has been working as a professional singer in the arena of music. She got popularity among the music-lovers by virtue of her exceptional voice.
Noted singers Kanakchapa, Partho Barua, Sandipan, Ankhi Alamgir, Putul, Muhin, Mehrab, Naurin, Kishore, music director Mainul Islam Khan, actors Runa Khan, Jenny, Kona Chowdhury, among others, were present at the wedding ceremony. After formal ceremony of the wedding, Adhora Jahan hosted the musical part of the event. Nishita informed that her groom is hailed from Hathazari of Chattogram. He is working in a private bank now. Patiya is hometown of Nishita. Under two families’ arrangement their wedding ceremony was held. “With God’s blessing our wedding ceremony was held successfully. Everybody prays for us as we can pass our conjugal life happily. I am grateful to them who attended the ceremony. I am also grateful to my parents who helped me to build up a beautiful life. Few days later, I will be regular in stage shows,” Nishita also said.
