A Dhaka court has granted bail to singer Tashbiha Binte Shahid alas Mila and her father Shahidul Islam in a case filed over cheating and concealing information of previous marriage.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Muhammad Asaduzzaman Noor passed the order after they surrendered in the court on Wednesday.
Advocate Taposh Chandra Saha moved for the accused in the court.
Mila’s ex-husband SM Parvez Sanjari filed the case on September 3 last year.
Earlier, on July 11, last year, Mila filed a case against her former husband Parvez Sanjari, his brother SMR Rahman and Khan Al-Amin with Bangladesh Cyber Tribunal for terming her as a terrorist pop star in a video.
Later, the court asked the Counter Terrorism Cyber Unit of police to submit probe report on September 16, last year.
