SINGER Bangladesh on Thursday has launched “Laptop for All” programme in association with world renowned IT brands Dell and HP to provide laptops for students of the country, says a press release. Under the scheme, students of any educational institution at any part of the country can avail a Dell or HP laptop from SINGER outlets at an affordable price with ease of payment options.
The initiative was formally launched at a gathering of students, teachers, and guardians at a ceremony at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the city on Thursday.
Singer Bangladesh Limited Managing Director and CEO MHM Fairoz, Marketing Director Vajira Tennakoon, HP Bangladesh-Country Manager Imrul Hossain Bhuiyan and Dell Bangladesh- Business Development Manager Sarower Chowdhury jointly inaugurated the launch of this new program.
In his speech, Singer CEO revealed that students will be able to purchase laptops of these global brands with affordable monthly payment without interest up to 8 months. Referring to Government’s plan to build a Digital Bangladesh by 2021, MHM Fairoz said “The Business sector certainly has to do its bit as well and that’s the reason we are very pleased to embark on activities which can complement and contribute towards meeting the goals of this program.”
