Singapore keen to invest in 9 sectors in the port city of Chittagong. This was disclosed by the visiting Singapore trade delegation while exchanging views with the city mayor AJM Nasir Uddin at latters office on Thursday . The leaders of Singapore Business federation and Singapore Bangladesh Business Chamber called on city mayor at his office on Thursday afternoon. Among others, Director of Singpaore Business Federation Kadi Lee , President of Bangladesh Business chamber in Singapore Mirza Golam Sabur, General secretary Nasirul Islam Moni, member Khorshed Alam, Director of Bangladesh foreign Food exporters association Dulal Kumar, Director of Q &Q Ltd Shahidul Alam, and Farhad Iqbal were present during the meet.
The business leader told that a high powered trade delegation will visit Bangladesh in first week of July. The visiting team disclosed that Singapore keen to invest in Agri, Food, Hospital, real estate, IT, communications, building construction, engineering , oil and gas and ship building industry in Dhaka and Chittagong. Mayor felicitated the business group of Singapore for visiting the City corporation, sources said.
