The Khalsa Sajna Dibas was considered as the embodiment of the 10th Guru Gobind Singh in Sikh religion.
The 319th anniversary of the day was celebrated on Thursday at Gurudwara Nanak Shahi compound on Dhaka University campus with due festivity in participation of many ‘Sikh’ devotees from India.
On the occasion, Awami League Joint Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif said as Chief Guest said, Bangladesh is a country of communal harmony and the people of all religious are used to enjoy their religious rights with honour and dignity.
The function was attended by Gurudwara Managemnt Board Kolkata President Ajayeb Sing, Bangladesh Gurudwara Management Committee President Parash Lal Beghi, Vice President Chitta Francis Rebeiru, General Secretary P R Biswas along with many Sikh devotees from abroad.
