The maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal No three.The warning came as the well-marked low over Northwest Bay and adjoining Bangladesh-West Bengal coast now lies over Orissa-West Bengal coast and adjoining land areas, a Met Office bulletin on Sunday.Under its influence, steep pressure gradient lies over North Bay the bulletin said adding that squally weather may affect the North Bay, adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh and the maritime ports.All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
