The test squad had been preparing in Cape Town for Bangladesh’s series against South Africa, while ODI series was going on. Batting coach Jamie Siddons believes that this great preparation will pay off in the Test series.
The Test team also went to South Africa with the ODI team, including Test captain Mominul Haque, who practiced intensively at the cricket academy of former cricketer and now renowned coach Gary Kirsten.
The camp is supervised by batting coach Siddons. However, Kirsten himself coached at the beginning. Also present was former Bangladesh fielding coach Ryan Cook, who also does coaching at Kirsten Academy.
