Famed golfer Siddikur Rahman shared the 33rd slot with 22 other golfers in the Bashundhara Bangladesh Open after the 1st round at Kurmitola Golf Club on Wednesday.
Siddikur played 11 holes out of 18 including four birdies and two bogies to score one under par 10.
Three other Bangladeshi golfers Jibon Ali, Abdul Matin and Zamal Hossain shared the 11th slot with three others.
Jibon and Matin played three under par 68 each in the first round while Zamal scored three under par 9 taking part in only in the second session.
Shunya Takeyasu of Japan took the top slot in the leaderboard playing seven under par 64, followed by Thitiphun Chuayprakong of Thailand with six under par 65.
Including 31 Bangladeshi golfers, 138 golfers from 35 countries are taking part in the 2nd edition of the meet.
