Celebrated Bangladeshi golfer Siddikur Rahman, who briefly held the lead on the back nine, settled for a disappointing 72 to share third place with Thai golfer Donlapatchai Niyomchon (68) on the 4th and last day of the Queen’s Cup Golf at Santiburi Samui Country Club in Thailand on Sunday.
Siddikur, who advanced to the 2nd place on the 3rd day scoring 64 with seven under par, having seven birdies and without any bogey scoring 202, spent a worse 4th day (Sunday) with one over par making one birdie and two bogeys to settle for the joint 3rd slot scoring total 274 with 10 under par.
EurAsia Cup star Siddikur was disappointed as he let victory slip from his grasp and was kicking himself with a closing bogey that dropped him into a share of third place, according to Asian Tour.
