A Dhaka court yesterday (Thursday) placed four persons, including Sub-Inspector Asaduzzaman of Special Branch (SB) of police, on a three-day remand each in a case filed with Uttara Police Station of the capital.
Magistrate Anwar Sadat of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka passed the order after Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Uttara Police Station Kazi Shahan Haque produced the accused to the court with a 5-day remand plea.
The three other accused persons are Saiful Islam, Mahbubul Hasan Apu and Mashiur Rahman. On Wednesday at about 2.30 pm, Rapid Action Battalion-1 (RAB-1) detained them from Uttara Sector No. 6 while trading arms.
