Bangladesh government on Thursday issued a gazette notification extending the ongoing shutdown of all public and private offices till May 5 to restrain the spread of coronavirus in the country.
The notifications showed that emergency services related to the supply of water, power, gas and fuel will remain out of the purview of the shutdown.
The port activities, telephone, internet and postal operations also will remain out of this closure.
All educational institutions also will be closed during the period according to the notification.
