City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin said the newly installed show room of Bengal Meat on footpath of Dampara in city will be evicted very shortly .
This sale cum showroom of the BM was installed on footpath placing a container . City Mayor told it this reporter while contacted last morning. He said City corportation has ascertained that this footpath belong to corporation.
Corporation sources said this footpath adjoining land was leased out to Police authority for their movement facilities but it is beyond the purview of the terms of reference of the agreement .
And hence, the MOU with CMP authority will also be abrogated very shortly he said.
