Showkat Islam, has been promoted to General Manager of Agrani Bank Limited, says a press release.
Earlier, he was Deputy General Manager (DGM) of the bank and posted to Amin Court Corporate branch.
After obtaining masters degree in Applied Chemistry from Dhaka University he joined Agrani Bank as a senior officer in 1986.
Later he worked as branch manager in Various important branches of the bank.
Islam participated in a training course on `Trade Finance and Cash Management in North Asia’ in Hong Kong.
