A court in Chittagong issued show cause to 3 police officials including Officer incharge of Chowkbazar thana under CMP allegedly accused for filing violence case under anti-terrorism act without taking prior permission from district magistrate and not to present the detained persons to court custody within 24 hours.
These officials asked to reply the show cause within 5 working days.
Metropolitan Magistrate Farid Alam issued these show cause orders.
The court asked these police officials to remain present in court on September 29 next during remand petition hearing, court sources said.
