Promising shooter Shovan Chowdhury clinched the 2nd silver medal for Bangladesh in the 12th South Asian Games (SAG) Shooting securing the 2nd slot in the Men’s 10 meter air rifles with total score 203.6 at the Khailipara Shooting Range on Friday. Earlier in the morning, Shovon (617) shared the team event’s silver with Abdullah Hel Baki (621.5) and Anjan Kumar Singha (607) scoring total 1845.8.
Shovon dominated over their world class Indian rivals till the 2nd last round, but was thrown out of the gold race due to two bad shots in the two last rounds.
