Arlene Nicolas :
Education is one thing one should have because this will serves as a tool to fight ignorance. So it must be available to either boys or girls.
I concur that boys and girls should attend on the same school, receiving same quality of education, because of the following reasons.
First, boys can challenge themselves academically with the girls in the school. They will have a chance to know who among them are bitter especially in tough disciplines like Mathematics, Science and language. Second, boys can also test the athletic ability of girls especially in the following sports, basketball, volleyball and badminton. They can also learn a lot of techniques and strategies if they will play together.
Third, not only the cognitive part and bodily kinesthetics are developed but also the interpersonal intelligence. Boys and girls will have the chance to bond and sense the thoughts, feelings, motivation and lifestyles of others.
This is also the moment wherein one can show empathy with others and they will also understand and appreciate cultural variety.
Fourth, boys will find it easy to deal with girls, if they see each other on the same school. Boys will understand why girls put make up when they attend classes, because girls want to look affable in the eyes of everybody. They will also learn that girls are friendly and accost if boys will treat them with altruism. Last, the number of same sex relationship can be abstain or abate because boys and girls can mingle each other. They have enough time to know each other if they will study on the same school.
Having a heterogeneous group of boys and girls in one school shows a lot of significance not only on academic or cognitive aspect, but also on bodily kinesthetic, intrapersonal intelligence and most of all to the development of oneself. It implies that when boys and girls will be placed on the same school the chance to produce an individual having a well balanced personality is very high, and a lot of friends will be in ones company if boys and girls will be placed on the same school.
