On the occasion of coming Valentine’s Day, director Debashish Biswas’ directed romantic movie titled Shoshurbari Zindabad 2 will be released on February 11. Produced is by Bengal Multimedia Ltd, the movie features popular actors Bappy Chowdhury and Apu Biswas
in the lead roles. While talking about releasing of the movie, Syed Ashiq Rahman, Director of Bengal Multimedia Ltd and CEO of RTV, said, “I am missing Sadek Bachchu as this was his last movie. Shoshurbari Zindabad 2 is such a romantic fantasy movie that the viewers will love to watch. We wanted to release the movie last year but couldn’t do it because of the Covid-19 situation. As most people are now started to be vaccinated, we decided to release the movie. I hope the viewers will follow the health guidelines and also to come to watch the movie in cinema halls.” The movie is being released 17 years after the release of the original movie titled Shoshurbari Zindabad starring Shabnur and Riaz in the lead roles. But the director informed that Shwoshurbari Zindabad 2 is not a sequel. Singers Kumar Shanu, Akassh Sen, Imran and Liza have recorded songs while the music of the movie was directed by late Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul, Emon Shaha, Shri Pritam and Akassh Sen. Shoshurbari Zindabad 2 also stars Afzal Sharif, Kabila and Chikon Ali among many others. The movie went
on the floors nearly four years ago.
