After a break of six years, popular actors Ziaul Faruk Apurbo and Sharmin Zoha Shoshi performed together in a faction play. Directed by MI Jewel story of the play titled A Journey By Post was written by Jakaria Showkhin.
Earlier, Apurbo and Shoshi performed together in daily soap and drama serial. For the first time, they worked together in a single episode play by this time.
Shooting of ‘A Journey By Post’ was done at a shooting house in the city’s Uttara area recently.
Saif and Faria is a happy couple. They tied the nuptial knot after a successful relationship between them. After marriage they started to feel each other boring in their conjugal life and they decided to return to their own houses. They again started a new relationship over mobile phone from their own places. Story of the play continues with a new dimension.
While talking about the play Apurbo told this correspondent, “Earlier I had worked under Showkhin’s written a story based play. His story telling is nice. I like his presentation style about the story in this play. Title of the play A Journey By Post is not only liked by me but also I have enjoyed a lot to work in it. Shoshi has improved her acting skill tremendously well which has really impressed me.”
About the play Shoshi shared her feelings by this way, “Apurbo Bhaiya is one of my favourite actors. He can deliver many tough dialogues so easily that his co-actors can get inspiration while working with him. In fact, I have enjoyed a lot to work against him after a long time.”
The play A Journey By Post will be telecasted in any satellite channel before Eid-ul-Fitr, said its director Jewel.
It may be mentioned that Apurbo and Shoshi first worked together in Ferdous Hasan’s directed a drama serial titled Dohon. Later, under Tonmoy Tansen’s directed they performed together in another serial titled Danguli.
They last performed together in daily soap Gulshan Avenue six years ago. In the meantime, Apurbo has started to take part in shooting in several new drama serials – Syed Shakil’s Samrat, Nazrul Islam Raju’s Lake Drive Lane, Sakhawat Manik’s Meghey Dhaka Shoshor, etc.
On the other hand, Shoshi’s acted new serials are: Golam Sohrab Dodul’s Palta Hawa, Noresh Bhuiyan’s Regey Gelen To Herey Gelen, Jamal Mollick’s Swapno, Muhammad Ashiqur Rahman’s Akash Churi and Salauddin Lavlu’s Khorkuto.
