A friend allegedly killed one shop keeper for only Tk three thousand at Alonkar Shopping Complex at Pahartoli in the port city on Friday night. The victim was identified as Mohammad Nasir (30).
Sources and locals said, Nasir gave loan Tk 3,000 to Ismail. But, Ismail did not return the money. In connection with the money, Nasir and Ismail locked in altercation at Alonkar Shopping Complex at Pahartoli in the port city at around 10 pm. At one stage, Ismail stabbed Nasir by knife causing his death on the spot.
Police said, ‘a case was filed in this connection. Ismail is yet to be arrested. But, police is trying to nab the killer.
