BSS, Rangamati :A shopkeeper was burnt alive when a fire broke out at his shop in Reserve Bazaar area in the district last night.The shopkeeper was identified as Rubel, 26, son of Abul Keran of Sayedpur union under Boalkhali upazila in Chittagong district.Station manager of Rangamati Fire Station M Elias said the fire originated from electric short circuit at about 1.00 am and engulfed three more adjacent shops and four houses.On information, fire-fighting unit rushed to the spot and doused the flame after 2 hour of frantic effort with the help of locals.
