Commonwealth Games silver winner Abdullah Hel Baki disappointed the Bangladesh’s hope of a medal with mediocre performances as he finished 15th position in the 10m Air Rifle men’s qualification round of the 17th Asian Games with a score of 619.6 held on Tuesday at the ongoing international shooting range.
Besides, M Zesimuzzaman finished 32 position scoring 613.8 while Mahmodul Hasan placed at 45th position scoring 606.5 in the same event.
Shooter Yang Hooran of china clinched the gold medal scoring 209.6 while his compatriot Cao Yifei won silver medal scoring 208.9 in the event.
In individual event of archery, Ruman Shana finished 21st position with a score of 629, Emdadul Haque Milon placed 34 position with a score of 615, Shiek Sojeb placed 35th position with a score of 614 and Prennoy Murong finished 44th position with a score of 585.
In the women’s event, Mathui Prue Marma placed at 31st position with a score of 628, Shamoli Ray finished 39th position with a score of 617, Beauty placed at 49th position with a score of 562 and Rabeya Khatoon finished with 555 score.
The second round of recurve men’s Individual ranking round and recurve women’s individual ranking round will be held today (Wednesday).
