Movie Shunte Ki Pao acclaimed director Kamar Ahmad Simon’s first feature film titled Shonkhodhoni will be co-produced by production house Ddhoni-Chitra Ltd.
This was announced by noted cultural personality and Managing Director of Dhoni-Chitra Sara Zaker at a press conference under the title ‘Meet the Press: After Cannes’ at the residence of France Ambassador in Bangladesh in the city’s Gulshan area on Saturday.
While speaking at the conference Sara Zaker said, “The new generation is now coming up to take us to the world cinema. We are proud to be part of it.” Shonkhodhoni (Silence of the Seashell) was one of the 10 invited scripts this year in the 67th Festival de Cannes at La Fabrique des Cinema du Monde, a programme designed by Institut Francais in Partnership with Marche du Film (World Cinema Market) and supported by French Embassy. Producer Sara Afreen and French Ambassador Michel Trinquier also spoke on the occasion.
