Popular TV actress and model Anika Kabir Shokh has reduced to work in drama serial this time. But she is still taking part in shooting of three serials right now. ‘Jhamela Unlimited’ is one of them, which is being aired on Rtv now.
From yesterday morning she has been talking part in shooting of the serial in the city’s Uttara area. It was confirmed by its director Shamim Zaman. Shokh will be seen to play in role of ‘Khushi’ in the serial.
While talking about to act in the serial Shokh told this correspondent, “Earlier I had worked under Shamim Bhai’s direction. He works sincerely and cordially. ‘Jhamela Unlimited’ is a popular serial. I have been attached with this serial from the beginning. I have liked the role ‘Khushi’ so I had liked to work. I always feel comfortable to work under Shamim Bhai’s direction.”
Director Shamim Zaman said, “This time Shokh is acting well. She is more serious rather than previous times in acting. For this reason, I have selected her to cast in this serial. She has performed well.”
Meanwhile, now Shokh acted in another serial titled ‘Lamppost’ directed by Sagor Jahan. Mosharraf Karim is acting against her in the serial. However, under same director’s direction another serial titled ‘D20’ will be aired on Ntv soon.
Till now Shokh acted in two movies one in against Shakib Khan and another was against Niloy. Later she did not see to act in any movie. But she has keen interest to work in big screen.
Recently, Shokh performed as a model in a TV commercial with Emon under Nafiz’s direction which will be aired soon in different satellite channel.
