Popular face of the small screen Anika Kabir Shokh has returned to acting after taking a break of two years due to starting her new conjugal life and giving birth to a baby. But the actress did not believe her returns would become more colourful rather than her imagination. Because after taking break from acting, Shokh acted in a drama but later due to interest from producer and director, she acted in three dramas for Eid-ul-Fitr. In the meantime, she also took part in three dance shows for three TV channels on the occasion of Eid. Shokh also took part in an Eid special magazine show. Overall, Shokh’s returns has become colourofic way. As a result, her fans are watching their favourite actress on the screen during Eid festival in different TV channels. Shokh informed that under the choreography by Evan Shahriar Sohag she presented three dance performances for Channel 9 on the occasion of Eid. She also performed in dance shows for ATN Bangla and BTV. Meanwhile, she also acted in three Eid special dramas. These are: Jakiul Islam Ripon’s Fatafati Prem (opposite Zaher Alvi). Basically through this drama Shokh has returned to acting. Therefore, she also acted in Bishwajit Dutta’s drama Bagh O Baghini and Priti Dutta directed drama Data Hatem Tai. Shokh acted opposite Shamim Hasan Sarkar in these two dramas. However, Shokh also took part in Anjam Masud’s magazine show Amio Kotha Bolte Chai. This magazine show has been made to telecast on ATN Bangla. While talking about her returns for Eid dramas and shows, Shokh said, “In fact, I acted in Eid special dramas without having any plan before. I really enjoyed a lot working in these three dramas because stories of these were really nice. As I am a dance artiste, so I also took part in three Eid special dance programmes for three TV channels. In the meantime, along with drama colleagues
I also took part in a magazine show for Eid. Overall, I believe I remain
with Eid festival in colourofic way. Therefore, this year’s Eid was significant for me because for the first time I celebrated the festival along with my only daughter. Along with Alif and my husband, I have been passing good days during Eid festival. Everybody prays for us.”
