On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha, popular pair Anika Kabir Shokh and Niloy performed together in a serial and a single episode play.
To cast Shokh and Niloy, a six-episode Eid serial titled Chocolate Boy has already been made. Directed by Walid Hasan story of the serial was also written by him. Its shooting was going on in the city’s Aftabnagar area. It is a comedy story based serial. It will go on air on Boishakhi TV in Eid-ul-Azha.
Therefore, shooting of a single episode play titled Othoi Ebong Niler Goddyo Padmo was wrapped up on Thursday. This romantic story based play was directed by grandson of late filmmaker Subhash Dutta, Bishwajit Dutta.
While talking about these two works Niloy told this correspondent, “I am very much optimistic about these two works which have been made to air in Eid. There are several viewers who like to watch Shokh and me together on the screen. To keep in mind their want, we have worked in these serial and play. I believe viewers will enjoy our acting in these two works.”
Shokh shared her feelings by this way, “In fact, I am hopeful about the single episode play rather than Eid serial. Because it is non-traditional theme and romantic story based. After many days I am satisfied to work in these works. I acted in every shot trying heart and soul to express my roles properly. Niloy also cooperated me well. I believe viewers will enjoy our outstanding performances these works.”
It may be mentioned that Shokh and Niloy acted first movie was Olpo Olpo Prem-er Golpo. Their acting was appreciated by the viewers in that movie.
Later they got many offers to work together in big screen. But they couldn’t work together in any other movie due to mismatch of bat & ball.
Meanwhile, Niloy acted and late Belal Ahmed directed movie Bhalobashboi To is going to release soon. Moushumi acted against him in this movie.
