For the first time on the screen, country’s one of the leading ramp models Shabnaz Sadia Emi and popular TV actress cum model Anika Kabir Shokh have performed together in a TV play.
Recently they have performed together in play titled Chotushkone, directed by BU Shuvo under the script written by Habib Shakil.
In the play Chotushkone, Emi and Shokh performed in roles of ‘Samia’ and ‘Juthi’ respectively.
Story of the play revolves with the conjugal lives of two families, said its director Shuvo.
While sharing her feelings to perform in the play Emi told this correspondent, “In fact, I perform in TV play very little bit. I always try to perform in that play where either its story of my role is suitable for me. Story of BU Shuvo has attracted me. For this reason, I agreed to perform in it. I hope viewers will enjoy the play. Shokh has performed well in the play.”
Shokh shared her feelings by this way, “It was my first work with Emi apu in TV play. She is very cooperative. She is also very like-minded person. While taking part in the shooting we had worked very sincerely. Viewers will enjoy the play, I believe.”
Recently Shokh acted play titled Shesh Muhurtey, directed by Pallab Biswas, was aired in a satellite channel. Shokh’s performance in the play was attracted by the viewers.
On the other hand, from last week Raihan Khan directed drama serial titled Colour is being aired on SA TV. Emi is acting in the serial.
Emi acted first TV play was Ashraful Alam Ripon directed play Nobom Prohor. Later she performed in few mentionable plays. But she is very busy with ramp modeling.
