Naimul Islam Miajee gained gold medal in the Walton 8th Shito-ryu Karate Do Championship at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council on Sunday.
Sanjida Siddiqua Shova bagged silver medal while Fardin Ahmed earned bronze medal.
A total of 400 karateka are taking part in the karate competition.
The champions of the Open Teams Kumi event will be awarded Tk 20,000 while the runners-up of the Event will be given Tk 10,000.
