Shithi Saha renders Islamic song in a gesture of religious harmony

Talented singer Shithi Saha has taken a different approach this Eid. In the midst of many commercial songs, she has lent her voice for rendition of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam’s Tribhubone Priyo Mohammad, a revered Islamic song, said a press release. 

The singer has also added two lines from Turkish folk song Katibim to the song. The music video, which is inspired by Turkish culture, has earned accolades. 

The song, which has been released on Chorki, has been produced by GM John, and the music video was made by Saqeeb Niloy.

While talking about rendering the song, Shithi said, “Thanks to the Almighty, we have received a great response from the audience for the song. I always wanted to do this song, and dedicate it to my Muslim friends and family.”

The singer also said, “To sing a ghazal written by our beloved National Poet, Kazi Nazrul Islam is one of the greatest achievements I have yet.”

Shithi hoped that the song will convey a message of peace and harmony.
