While sharing her feelings in this regard Shirin Alam said, “While coming to acting many actors loss their real names. They become popular by reel life’s names. Same thing also happened in case of mine. But I have no pain in this regard because in passport and certificates, my real name Anjuman Ara Begum is being used.”
Now Shirin Alam is busy with acting in two movies. Recently she took part in shooting of movie Ek Poshla Brishti. She is playing the role of hero Kayes Arju’s mother in the movie. Therefore, she is also acting in Nasir Uddin’s movie Basor Ghor. Here she is also acting hero’s mother.
“I am very lucky in acting in big screen. In movie, I first got the opportunity to work under direction of noted director late Chashi Nazrul Islam in his movie Shasti. Later, my acted all movies got popularity. Now I am acting in two movies, which stories are really nice. I am grateful to them who co-operated me to come into this position. I want to continue works in media with having viewers’ loves,” Shirin Alam also said. Now Shirin Alam is also acting in a drama serial titled Poribar, she added.
