Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan returned home after wrapping up a six-day official visit to South Korea. During the trip, the minister looked over the technical system for implementing the project ‘Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS)’ to ensure safety and security of people and vessels in the sea, said a press release here on Monday.
Director General of Sea transport Directorate Commodore M Zakiur Rahman Bhuiyan was with him during the visit.
