Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who will soon be seen hosting Amazon Prime Video Original’s ‘Hear Me, Love Me,’ reveals new words which she learnt on the sets of the show.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra shared, “I learnt words like FOMO. After finishing the shoot, I went for a date night with my husband and I tried to be cool. My husband is very British and way ahead of his time. I said something and added – ‘do you know I have this ‘FOLO.’ When he asked what it was, I said fear of losing out. He corrected, ‘You mean fear of missing out?’ This is not it! During the show I used to say I have fear of FOMO. And then I realize that was also wrong. I have been brought up using Queen’s English. I mean, why use abbreviations where I can use proper English. So they clarified that this generation does it. Eventually, we also started speaking in hashtags. #Losingout #FOLO and so on (laughs).”
