Shihab Chowdhury accused of guilty for match-fixing in BPL

The Anti-Corruption Tribunal has found Shihab Jishan Chowdhury, one of the owners of Dhaka Gladiators guilty, of the offence of match fixing in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2013.
Mahbubul Alam Robin and Mosharraf Hossain Rubel were found not guilty by the Tribunal. Salim Chowdhury, the Dhaka Gladiators owner, Gaurav Rawat, CEO of the Gladiators franchise, and Mohammad Rafique, the bowling coach were also found not guilty.
Batsman Mohammad Ashraful had earlier confessed of his involvement in the fixing deal of the BPL 2013. Another player, who is yet to be named, has also been found guilty.
The nature and extent of punishment for Shihab, Ashraful and the other player will be pronounced at a later date.
