A group of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists beat an activist of Islami Chhatra Shibir on Chittagong University (CU) campus on Saturday afternoon.
Hathazari police sources said that one Mujahid, was distributing leaflets of Islami Chhatra Shibir at Social Science faculty premises at around 1:30pm.
Then a group of BCL activists beat him for distributing the leaflets.
On receipt of the information, Hathazari police rushed to the spot and recovered Mujahid from the BCL activists.
