Chittagong district police arrested an Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) leader from Kanchona area under Satkania upazila on Friday night.
The arrested ICS leader Mohammad Selim, 27 is son of Mohammad Abul Hossain, hailing from Kanchona village of Satkhania upazila of the district.
Based on secret information, a team of Satkania thana police arrested Selim from Kanchona village of Satkania upazila of the district at 2am last night.
He was wanted in five cases on charges of act of sabotage and vandalism at different police stations, Mohammad Farid Uddin, officer in Charge of Satkania thana police said.
