Shibir activists hacked two Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) men in Rajshahi University on Tuesday morning. The injured were identified as Masud Hasan and Tagar Mohammad Salehi of the University. Chhatra Shibri (student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami) cadres chopped off one of the legs of Masud Hasan, a leader of the Rajshahi University unit BCL while the attackers also cut off the tendons of the hands and legs of another BCL leader Tagar Mohammad Salehi, the local sources said.The Shibir men attacked on them on their way to class at around 8.30 am. Masud Hasan, a second year student of the department of History of the University while Tagar Mohammad Salehi of the folklore department in the same year. The duo were rushed to the Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH), in critical condition. The BCL leaders, however, claimed that the Shibir activists attacked on them in a pre-planned way.– risingbd.com
