Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested a listed Shibir cadre from city’s Muradpur area on early Wednesday.
The arrestee, identified as Rashedul Alam Manju, has been wanted in different cases of violence acts in the city’s Muradpur area, CMP sources said.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Panchlaish thana Abu Jafar Mohammad Omar Farukh said Manju, a close aid to the listed terrorist Azrail Delwar, led different violence acts committed by Jamaat-Shibir activists before and after January 5 general election.
