The Sher-e-Banga Cup National Football Championship 2016, to be organised by Bangladesh Football Federation, will begin in the last week of February.
Sixty-four district teams alongside services and university teams will compete in the national championship. The decision was taken at the first meeting of the national football championship committee held at the BFF Board room on Monday afternoon with committee chairman Harun-ur Rashid in the chair.
BFF Vice President Badal Roy was made the chairman of the tournament’s budget committee while BFF member Fazlur Rahman Babul convener of the bylaw committee.
