Sheikh Russel 12th National Wushu Championship begins today (Tuesday) at Sheikh Russel Roller Skating Complex in the city, said a press release.
State Minister for Textile and Jute Mirza Azam is expected to inaugurate the three-day meet as the chief guest, organised by Bangladesh Washu Association.
China Bangla Ceramics Industries Limited managing director M Sirajul Islam Mollah, MP, will present as special guest.
Dr Abdus Soban Golap, special assistant of Prime Minister and office secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, will preside over the opening ceremony.
