Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra beat Swadhinata Krira Sangha (KS) by 2-1 goals in their match of the TVS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at Bashundhara Sports Complex in the city on Saturday.
Sheikh Russel led the first half 2-0.

In the 20th minute of the game, Mannaf Rabbi was roughly charged by Dipu of Swadhinata Krira Sangha. Thus, the referee awarded a penalty kick in favour of Sheikh Russel. Akhmatov of Sheikh Russel made it 2-0 by a penalty kick.
After the lemon-break, Nadir of Swadhinata Krira Sangha reduced the margin by a forceful free-kick in the injury time of the second half.
