The leaders of Sampriti Bangladesh on Friday said valiant Freedom Fighter Shaheed Captain Sheikh Kamal was a role model for the country’s young generation.
“Sheikh Kamal had multiple talents,” they said at a discussion organized by Sampriti Bangladesh at the Jatiya Press Club marking Sheikh Kamal’s 73rd birth anniversary.
Sampriti Bangladesh convener Pijush Bandyopadhyay chaired the discussion while Awami League Central Working Committee Member Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) former Vice-Chancellor Prof Kamrul Hassan Khan, former Chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC) Professor Abdul Mannan and Bangladesh Chhatra League President Al Nahian Khan Joy spoke in the discussion. Professor Dr Mamun Al Mahtab Shwapnil conducted it, reports BSS.
Pijush Bandyopadhyay said Sheikh Kamal was a role model for the younger generation.
“We will remain united in face of any kind of conspiracy against the spirit of the liberation war,” he added.
Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin said Sheikh Kamal was a skilled organizer. He had multiple talents in sport, culture and politics and he had important role in many any organizations, he added.
Kamrul Hassan Khan said Sheikh Kamal was an honest, skilled, talented and patriotic leader. “We have lost a patriotic leader like Sheikh Kamal,” he added.
