Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup Tournament Trophy was brought to the city’s Radisson Blue Chittagong Bay View in a splendid way. The tournament began on Saturday with the participation of 3 clubs from 5 countries at MA Aziz Stadium. The Ceremony was held on Thursday nightat Radison Blu , with prominent Citizen and sports figures from the city. State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell was the guest of honor. He highlighted the achievements, plans and initiatives of the present government during the expansion of the sport.
The state minister said that at the behest of the Prime Minister, 1,000 playgrounds will be created across the country. The Ministry will provide all kinds of assistance to continue the Sheikh Kamal Club Cup tournament.
The Minister of State handed over the trophy to the tournament in the hands of Venue convener and Chittagong City Corporation Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin.
At the time, the organising committee member secretary of the tournament and Whip Samsul Haque Chowdhury of the National Assembly and Chief Coordinator of the tournament Managing Director of Saif Powertech Tarafadar Md. Ruhul Amin was present during the Trophy handover Ceremony.
