The vital match of the KFC Independence Cup Football between Bangladesh Premier League champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club and Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club, scheduled for Sunday at 4:30 pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, has been deferred by a day due to unavoidable circumstances.
The match will now be held today (Monday) at 6:30 pm at the same venue.
It was learnt that BFF rescheduled the fixture few hours before the match as per the request of the Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club.
However, the second match of the day between Dhaka Abahani Ltd and Soccer Club, Feni will be held as per schedule on Sunday at 6:30 pm

With the inclusion of Sheikh Jamal DC the season’s curtain-raiser football tournament completed its quota of 12-team, participating in two groups.
Participating team are:
Group A – Dhaka Mohammedan SC, Muktijoddha Sangsad KC, Chittagong Abahani Ltd, Brothers Union , Uttar Baridhara Club and Sheikh Jamal DC .
Group B – Dhaka Abahani Ltd, Sheikh Russel KC, Team BJMC, Rahmatganj MFS, Feni Soccer and Arambagh KS.
