Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club is leading the Bangladesh Premier League points table securing all-win 12 points from four matches after beating Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra by 1-0 goal at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday.
Sheikh Jamal scored the all important match winning goal in the 22nd minute of the match after they earned a penalty when Muktijoddha’s goalie Rasel Mahmud Liton fouled Darlington inside the box.
Haitian forward Wedson Anselme made no mistake to put his side ahead from the spot 1-0.
Muktijoddha’s Nigerian striker Eleta Kingsley spoiled a penalty in the 21st minute as he hit the crossbar. Jamal goalkeeper Ziaur Rahman Zia brought down Nkwocha Kingsley inside the penalty area to give Muktijoddha the penalty.
