Two-time Bangladesh Premier League champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club returned home on Tuesday after a successful campaign in the AFC Cup Play-Off Qualifiers in Kyrgyzstan.
Federation Cup and Bangladesh Premier League champions Sheikh Jamal DC emerged group champions to reach the AFC Cup Play-Off with unbeaten record after playing 1-1 draw with five-time Kyrgyzstan champions FC Alga at Dolen Omurzakov Stadium in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on Saturday.
Amirov Ildar scored for FC Alga in the 22nd minute while Nigerian forward Emeka Darlington Onuoha leveled the margin for Sheikh Jamal DC in the 77th minute.

Earlier, touring Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club made their path easy for the group title crushing Casa Benfica of Macau by 4-1 goals in the first match on Thursday, needed just a draw against hosts FC Alga to reach the AFC Cup play-off and finally achieved their target on Saturday.
