Sheikh Jamal reached the semifinals when they eased past Mohan Bagan FC ofIndia by 5-3 goals in their group match on November 27.It is noteworthy that ill-fated Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club failed to clinch IFA Shield recently as they were beaten by Calcutta Mohammedan Sporting Club in the tie-breaker of the final match.
