Bangladesh Awami League (AL) and its front organisations on Sunday celebrated the homecoming day of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through the daylong programmes.
Sylhet city, north and south district units of AL celebrated the day through elaborate programmes including placing of wreaths at Bangabandhu’s portrait at the party office in the morning, holding of Milad and Doa Mahfil. City AL Secretary Asad Uddin.Abdul Khalik, Nizam Uddin, Bijit Chy, Foyjul Anwar, Nasir Uddin also attended the doa mahfil.
Baraigram (Natore) Correspondent adds: The Homecoming Day of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was observed in Baraigram upazila under Natore district on Sunday.
On the day Baraigram Upazila Awami League brought out a rally and arranged a discussion meeting. The discussion meeting was presided over by Abdul Jalil PK. It was also addressed among others by Bonpara Pouro Mayor K M Jakir Hossain, Upazila Awami League Secretary Adv Mizanur Rahman, Adv Shazahan Kabir, Principal Abdur Razzak.
