May 1 is the International Workers’ Day. To mark the day, popular life-oriented singer Shayan is coming with three new songs. On the occasion of May Day, Bangladesh Television (BTV) arranges a special musical programme.
In the programme, Shayan will render four songs. These are: Tajjob boney jai, Ami keno protibadey jai, Gaichho sobar jonnyo and Shunechhi tader mojuri ekhono daoni. Of these songs, except the first one alls are Shayan’s new numbers. Shayan herself has written lyrics and composed tune and music of the songs.
While talking in this regard Shayan told this correspondent, “I always try to write to write by owning way and also trying to compose its music. I always try to tell life-oriented tales in my songs. In these songs, I have tried this thing. I hope viewers will enjoy the songs.”
The special musical programme, produced by Mahfuzar Rahman, is scheduled to be aired on BTV on May 1 at 9:05pm, Shayan said.
Till now Shayan has three solo albums in the markets. These are: Shayan-er Gaan, Abar Takiye Dekho and Swapno Aamar Haat Dhoro. All these albums are available in the market under the banner of Gaanpoka.
