Tareen Jahan is a celebrated TV actress, model and dancer of the country. She is seen to perform in dance shows in
different TV channels on the occasion of country’s special days. This Eid she will be seen to perform in a dance show titled Nrittyer Taale Taale on BTV at 1:30pm on Eid day. Directed by noted dancer and choreographer Anisul Islam Hero and choreographed by Shawn Shan, Tareen will be seen to perform with promising dancer Shawn Shan in the programme. Recording of this programme has already done.
Performing with Tareen, Shawn Shan is very much excited. While sharing his feelings in this regard, he said, “I give thanks to respected Anisul Islam Hero Sir to give me the opportunity to perform with Tareen Apu in this dance show on BTV. I have many thanks and gratefulness to my mentor Kabirul Islam Ratan Sir because only for him I have come into this position. For Ratan Sir, I got the scope to perform with many noted dancers of the country. Earlier, I got some opportunities to work with Tareen Apu as her assistant. But as a pair, it was my first work with her on the stage. It is really a great achievement for me. Tareen Apu is serious, devoted to her works and talented actress. Despite having cough and fever Tareen Apu took part in rehearsal for the show. I am hopeful about this work.”
Shawn passed his early life in Khulna. There Bashirullah was his dance mentor. He completed Honours in Fashion Designing from Dhaka National Institute of Fashion Design.
Besides dancing, he is now also working as a choreographer at Kabirul Islam Ratan’s Nrityalok Cultural Centre.
